Culture Night 2019

DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!

Event Information:

Where: Coppell Middle School North (Cafeteria)

When: April 18th from 6pm-8pm

Estimated Attendance: 300+

Coppell Middle School North’s Annual Culture Night has two main goals:

1) celebrate the diversity of Coppell’s community; and

2) promote the construction of positive cultural identities within children.

  • This event is organized, planned, and managed by middle school learners and fosters leadership skills.
  • During Culture Night, learners of all backgrounds run booths that display cultural diversity. This occurs mainly through providing food, information, and displaying artifacts.
  • Learners also have the opportunity to arrange performances and demonstrations, which occur on-stage throughout the event.
  • In its first year, CMSN’s Culture Night brought in over 200 guests from the community: parents, learners, and families. Goals for the future include representing more cultures and raising awareness about the event to better impact the community.
  • We would like to extend a special invitation to families who will be joining our North school family next year.
  • Hope to see you there!
